 Hi Everyone!


I hope everyone is doing well and had a fun and safe Halloween.  Here is what the Stake YW have going on for November and December.  

November 8th, Wednesday, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. is our Stake YW Conference at the Wick's Lane chapel.  This is for YW who will be entering YW next year and up, and the YW presidencies.

December 30th , Saturday, Tri-Stake Winter dance from 7:30 - 10:30 p.m.  More info to come.

And that wraps up this year.  What an incredible year it has been!  As always, thank you so much for all that you do to help.  You are very appreciated.  Please feel free to reach out with any questions and keep up the good work!

If you have not seen yet, the new youth theme for next year is:

2024 Youth Theme Is “I Am a Disciple of Jesus Christ”

The Young Women and Young Men General Presidencies of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have announced that the 2024 youth theme is “I am a disciple of Jesus Christ” (3 Nephi 5:13).

Resources supporting the theme — including the corresponding theme song, videos, and downloadable artwork — are available now on youth.ChurchofJesusChrist.org and on social media. Additional resources will be available in the January issue of the “For the Strength of Youth” magazine.

The October 27 notice from the general presidencies encourages parents and youth leaders to teach principles from the theme at home and at church throughout the year. The theme can be used as a topic for youth sacrament meeting talks and to provide focus for youth activities, including camps, youth conferences and devotionals. The theme also will be emphasized during FSY conferences worldwide.

This theme will also be the focus of the Worldwide Event for Youth broadcast on January 28, 2024. Details about this event will be shared later.

  We hope everyone's summer is off to a great start!  Here is what the Stake has going on the next couple of months. June 1 - Saturday @ 7:30-10:30 pm Tri-Stake dance at the Belvedere building.  Bring a shirt to have signed, preferably white. Billings Stake is in charge so they will provide chaperones.  A flyer is attached. June 8 - Saturday @ 10:00-11:30 am is the temple activity with the Stake RS and the Activity Days primary girls.  A flyer is attached.  June 17 (week) is FSY June 24 (week) is FSY July 10 - Wednesday @ 6:00-8:00pm is our Rose Park dinner and pool activity.  We have the pool rented out just for us, so it will be awesome.  A flyer is attached. July 13 - Saturday @ 7:30-10:30 pm Tri-Stake Dance @ Belvedere building.  Billings South Stake is in charge so they will provide the chaperones.  July 24-27 - Wednesday-Saturday is Stake YW Girls Camp!!   July 31 - Wednesday @ 7:00 pm is our Camp Fireside.   Good Morning! What's bought by the yard but worn by the foot?  A carpet! 🙂 Here's what the Stake Young Women have going on for the month of October and a look ahead to November. October 8 th  - Tuesday, is our Stake Yong Women training at 7:00 pm in the Stake Center's YW room.  A flyer is attached.  This is only for the adult YW leaders.  October 13 th  - Sunday, is SYLC at 4:00 pm in the Stake Center's High Council room.  Please be sure to remind your youth who attends. Just a reminder that dress is casual.   October 26 th  - Saturday is the Tri-Stake Halloween dance.  BSS is in charge.  We are waiting to hear where this will be held.  We will let you know and send out a flyer as soon as we know! October 27 th  - Sunday is a broadcast, Celebration of Light, from 5-6:30pm.   November 6 th  - Wednesday is our Stake YW Conference from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  This is for all the young women and their leaders, as well as those who will be coming into Young Women's next

  Hey all!   We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and a nice break!  Thinking ahead for SYLC, we are going to be finishing up here at the end of the school year.  With that, be thinking of youth who are 14 years or older to be called on the SYLC for the start of next year school in the fall.  I will send out a reminder email as we get closer.  We are asking for SYLC members to be 14 years or older since that's the age that they participate in most of our activities and therefore kind of have ideas for planning.   Here is what we have going on:  April 14th,  Sunday ,  is a camp meeting at 2:20 pm at the Stake Center in the Relief Society room.  April 20th,  Saturday ,  is FSY Kickoff and Dance! It starts at 4:30 pm at the Stake Center. A flyer is attached. April 24th,  Wednesday ,  is camp Kickoff and registration! It is at the Stake Center at 7:00 pm. Casual dress and parents are invited. A flyer is attached.  May 5th,  Sunday,  is a Musical Fireside.  More information to come.
